HR SOLUTIONS

Our approach is to work in partnership with clients to truly understand what makes your organisation tick, your challenges, your aspirations, and how we can add value. Our experienced team love to see your business achieve its goals by getting its people practices right. Whether your immediate focus is on ensuring legal compliance or you have major expansion or restructuring plans, whether you need to outsource your HR on an ongoing basis or just need occasional support, we will develop a tailored solution to suit you.

Think you may need HR support? Let’s chat about your business and what you require so we can advise on the best options for you and the expected costs involved. You may be new to hiring staff and need to set everything up from scratch or perhaps you are struggling with an employee issue which seems unsurmountable – it helps to talk things through to get a fresh perspective and ideas on how to take things forwards. Here are some examples of the typical ways in which we work:

Retained HR Solution

A retained HR solution gives you the peace of mind of having professional HR advice at your fingertips, without worrying about costs, as support is provided at a discounted rate compared to “pay as you go” consultancy and for a fixed monthly fee which makes budgeting easier.

The retained solution includes an annual HR Health Check of your key documents so you can be sure you are keeping up to speed with legislative changes.

We offer three levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze. The amount of remote and onsite support varies with each package, from a very affordable basic level of support to an enhanced package where your HR consultant becomes a more integral part of your business. With each level, we can liaise with your insurer’s legal advice service and ACAS throughout any employment cases to minimise risk to your business.

The cost of each package varies dependent on staffing numbers and the level of support you require, which can be tailored to your individual organisation’s needs.

HR Health Check £325

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

A review of your employment contracts, HR-related policies, procedures and employee handbook and a discussion about any key HR concerns. A great first step for a new client.

WHAT DO WE GET OUT OF IT?

On completion of the HR Health Check, you will receive a RAG rated report detailing any “red” areas for urgent action (e.g. non-compliance with the law), “amber” areas of concern and “green” areas which are going well and can be developed further. A detailed breakdown will be provided on how your contracts comply with the requirements of the Employment Rights Act and any other relevant legislation, together with any suggested additions or changes to the clauses. You will be given costed options on how to proceed and an action plan will be agreed. Advice will also be given as part of the review on any consultation processes required to introduce proposed changes if necessary.

An annual HR Health Check is included free of charge for clients on a monthly retained HR service.
